Benefits:

Blue herons inhabit conservation areas, including rural drainage ditches and farm ponds. Aesthetic Value Canada geese enjoy this small lake, a conservation area resting in the heart of prime farmland.

Management:


CRP - native prairie grasses with fire break border of cool season grasses

recreates natural prairie fires.
